Jesus the Sorcerer? Looks to me like someone is revisiting
the area of study that Morton Smith established with his
*Jesus the Magician: Charlatan or Son of God?*.

Note that Smith published his work back in 1978. Presumably
Chapter Eight of Conner's text alludes to Smith's book?

All I could find on Conner's site was some mention of
Smith's writings with regard to the Secret Gospel of Mark.
