RECORDS MANAGER 
Peterborough City Council
Salary: £23,175 to £24,708 pa - Hours: 37 per week - Ref: LA231 

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified and/or suitably 
experienced Records Manager, to be responsible for a Council wide 
programme of record management. You will formulate and implement policies 
and procedures that will enable the Council to meet its record keeping 
obligations in adherence with current legislation and recognised best 
practice. You will also assist the Information Manager in respect of the 
requirements of both the Freedom of Information Act and the Data 
Protection Act. 

You will have a postgraduate qualification in Records Management and/or 
equivalent knowledge gained through experience. You should be able to 
demonstrate good influencing, interpersonal and presentational skills and 
provide evidence of knowledge and experience in project management.
