City Hall stands in the centre of Donegal Square in the heart of downtown Belfast, just 10 minutes from Belfast Central Station. Further information and a detailed map are available on the website of the City Council. (www.belfastcity.gov.uk).

Getting there

The Enterprise rail service runs eight daily services between Dublin (Connolly Station) and Belfast Central. Journey time is approximately two hours. 

Aircoach buses depart Dublin Airport for Belfast on the hour between 7.00 and 21.00 daily. Journey time is approximately two and a half hours. Passengers can board coaches in Donnybrook and in Dublin City Centre (www.aircoach.ie).

Aer Arann has three flights daily between Cork and Belfast City Airport (www.aerarann.ie). Belfast City Airport has daily flight connections with all major UK cities.   Journey time from the airport to the city centre is 15-25 minutes depending on traffic. The cost of a taxi is approximately £6.00.

 

Please note that some airlines (easyjet/Jet2/bmibaby) use Belfast International Airport (http://www.belfastairport.com/en). This airport is a greater distance from the city centre. A taxi fare is approximately £25 and takes 20 minutes. There are usually 3 buses per hour, journey time being 38 minutes plus a short, 8 minute walk from the bus stop. http://www.translink.co.uk.
