The following post would be an excellent opportunity for a colleague with keen interests in teaching and mentoring.  The Geography department has excellent colleagues and Vernon is one of the best campuses in the OC system.  Okanagan College is a key partner with UBC-Okanagan in providing Post-Secondary education opportunities in the Okanagan Valley.  The quality of life here is great and while I teach at UBC, I live in Vernon and I can answer any questions about living in the city and/or the region.
