HI, I would be interested to know of any Welsh library services that are or are planning to be involved with the "Flying Start" initiative from the Welsh assembly government. The policy document mentions "extension of the Books for Babies programme... to add additional Book Bags at further stages of development and fund additional support for local libraries." The former presumably means an extension of the bookstart scheme (in "Flying start" areas only?), but what about the latter? Or is this still very much in development stage? Any thoughts, information, plans etc. welcomed!
