Hi all

Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery are shortly going to be displaying the
V&A's touring 'Black British Style' exhibition. This exhibition is all
about Black fashion over the last 50 years. Myself and a colleague will be
doing a number of outreach workshops related to this exhibition with
community groups. Although the exhibition comes with a handling box of
modern fashion objects, we would really like to use some older Black style
objects/clothes with the groups. We were wondering if any museums have a
loans box or individual handling objects related to this theme that they
might be willing to loan us for the whole period of the exhibition or even
just part of it (mid June - mid September 06)?
Please let us know. Any help would be much appreciated.
Best wishes
Liz
