RE: "Youth European Parliament" - message to participants + EFTC discussion list

Rowdy,

Thanks, I’ll let them know.

Vibeke, Mari and I tried out the EFTC chat room this evening, it worked quite well!

There was a few teething problems with going in and out, but otherwise just fine.

It would be really good if other therapeutic community members could take the chance and arrange a set time, when people could talk to each other online in real time. Maybe we can talk more about this with list members? It could also be a safe forum for women in treatment communities, to talk to each other.

Anthony

Yes - if you go to the list website there is a place where you can click to send a message to the list.  The catch is that if you're not a list member, you won't be allowed to.  It's one of Jiscmails interesting (and rather michvious) little quirks!!

Hello,

I have received this message from Dr. George De Leon and Dr. Nancy
Jainchill, from the National Development Institutes, for Therapeutic
Community Research Studies, in New York.

The message relayed is as follows:

1)       To Mari and Vibeke and the others: It's great to see community
members take part in the List. "Keep up the effort!"

2)       Tried to e-mail the list but it did not work via the EFTC web
site.....

Many thanks to Nancy and George, we will get onto this right away!
