The ESRC National Centre for E-Social Science is currently looking for:

TECHNICAL AUTHOR / TRAINING MATERIALS DEVELOPER / LEARNING TECHNOLOGIST 
/ CONTENT CREATOR

The main duties of the post are:

     * Creating new materials and re-working materials gathered from 
others, to make them suitable for online and workshop delivery to a 
variety of audiences ranging from technical experts to novices
     * Liaising with staff in the hub and nodes to identify and develop 
suitable resources
     * Translating what may be complex information into user-friendly, 
effective and informative resources for the social science community
     * Organising and delivering workshops using developed materials
     * Ensuring materials meet e-learning standards and specifications
     * Ensuring materials meet accessibility guidelines
     * Preparing materials for transfer to a learning materials repository.

The post is available from as early as possible. It is a fixed term 
appointment to 31 March 2009.

Closing date for applications is the 26 April 2006 with interviews to be 
held the week commencing 8 May 2006.
