RESEARCHER (Temporary/Part-Time)

COMMUNITY LEARNING PROGRAMME PROJECT

CLP Project

On the 2 March 2005, the Government announced a three year project to support and develop the Community Learning Programme (CLP) as a possible model for the Irish third level sector. See Oireachtas report at

Community Learning Programme
The CLP is an important international example of service-learning. Service-learning is a teaching method that integrates classroom learning in any subject with suitable volunteering activity. The subject material is delivered as normal in class. However, the classroom learning is enhanced by being integrated with relevant volunteering.
