Hi Simon We do want you folks at RHUL to conduct the test - it's an important part of sysadmins being able to gain a feel for these new middleware components. This goes for all the tests. Sometimes I have stepped in and started a test, when there have been, e.g., UI problems at a site, but this is less desirable. Instructions for doing so, as ever, in the wiki: http://wiki.gridpp.ac.uk/wiki/Transfer_Test_Checklist and http://wiki.gridpp.ac.uk/wiki/Transfer_Test_Python_Script_HOWTO Cheers Graeme On 20 Mar 2006, at 13:01, Simon George wrote: > Hi Graeme, > > just to let you know, I am waiting for a reply from the RHUL network > manager before I can confirm the date you have requested for RHUL > tests. > Will you need anyone at RHUL to do anything, or are all the transfers > initiated and monitored by the test team? > > Cheers, > Simon > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > ----- > Simon George, Dept of Physics, Royal Holloway college, University > of London > Email [log in to unmask] Tel. +44 1784 41 41 85 Fax. +44 > 1784 472794 > > On Tue, 14 Mar 2006, Graeme Stewart wrote: > >> As part of agenda item 4 in tomorrow's meeting, can I draw your >> attention to the transfer test schedule here: >> >> http://wiki.gridpp.ac.uk/wiki/Service_Challenge_Transfer_Tests >> >> Those of you who are on gridpp-sc will have been aware of all the >> excitement caused by the aggregate tests in the last fortnight.
