The Department of Information Studies, University of Wales Aberystwyth, in collaboration with CyMAL: Museums Archives and Libraries Wales have been awarded an AHRC Collaborative Doctoral studentship for: 

 

The Role of Archives and Museums in Documenting Wales: 

Fulfilling the Potential

 

The studentship starts in September 2006, and the award will carry a stipend of approx £1000 above the normal AHRC studentship. The successful candidate will be located at CyMAL, and the work will be supervised by staff from the Department of Information Studies and CyMAL. Applicants should have a good 2:1 or 1st class undergraduate degree, and a postgraduate qualification in Archives, or Museums / Heritage studies.  Students should also meet the eligibility requirements of the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC).
