About the Readers

Tom Holmes earned his MA in Literature from SUNY Brockport and his MFA in Creative Writing from Eastern Washington University. Tom currently lives in Spokane, Washington where he is co- founder and co-editor of Redactions: Poetry & Poetics. He released his chapbook, After Malagueña, in 2005 and is scheduled to release his second book, Poetry Assignments, in 2007. His poems have also appeared in many journals. The have recently been featured in Terminus, Stringtown, and The American Poetry Journal. His works is also scheduled to appear in The South Carolina Review, Raintown Review, and Pemmicon. 

Gerald Schwartz was born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania and currently lives in West Irondequoit. Gerald has studied with Irish-American poet John Montague and Russian- American poet, Joseph Brodsky. He has also worked with the performance ensemble, Solomons Ramada, in the production of Now Faking Trains. Gerald has likewise worked in collaboration with Mike Lopez, drummer/percussionist, and Damian Catera, sound designer/guitarist, librettist with the The Maud Baum Dance Company. His works have been featured in the Northeast Corridor, North Dakota Quaterly, Poetry Salzburg (AUS), The Skald Review (Wales), and online magazines such as FLIM and Potepoetzine. He is the author of Only Others Are: Poems (LEGIBLE PRESS, 2003).
