We use Tyvek labels tied on by string. The National Trust gave us a bundle of these some time back. They are not very attractive but they survive, even underground, and can be written on by biro. What about the Tyvek or similar labels that hospitals use to label patients? All you need is to identify SMCC and the database number. I know Shropshire Primary Care Trust is in financial difficulty but maybe you could scrounge a bundle of labels off the local hospital! Regards, Nigel Dibben Alderley Edge
