Guest Speakers are: Dr Renaud Morieux, (University of Reims, France), 'Maps, Toponyms and Geopolitics: the case of the French/English Channel.' Dr Liana Vardi, (Buffalo University, USA), 'Economics and Culture in the late French Enlightenment'. Date: Tuesday 14 March, 10.30am-12.30pm Venue: Room 142, Department of History, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Reading (UK). Reading is a 30 minute train ride from Paddington, and the University campus is a short bus ride from the train station. Workshops are scheduled to take place at least once every term.
