We are implementing an IR here at UCD and are inclining towards use of METS/MODS as our metadata standard to enable us to provide high quality metadata records. Is there any other institution in the UK using or planning to switch to the MODS standard for their bibliographic data? If so, we would be very keen to get in touch and exchange information on this.
