Message from Cesar Bazan at the EPPI-Centre: ________________________________ New research synthesis courses (11 and 25 May, 2006) The following two courses will equip participants with skills and knowledge that can help make reviews more relevant for policy makers, practitioners or the public. Both of them demand some prior knowledge of synthesis methods. Name Focus on Date Venue User Led Synthesis participatory approaches to reviewing 11 May Institute of Education, University of London Synthesis of User Views reviews of research into people's perceptions and experiences 25 May Under the ESRC NCRM funding arrangements, the following rates will apply: * £20 per course for UK registered postgraduate students. * £40 per course for staff at UK academic institutions, ESRC-funded researchers and researchers from charity organisations. * £150 per course for all other participants.
