Dear All

A colleague and I are currently doing some research on teaching and learning ontology and epistemology in the social sciences. We're interested to know if anyone has come across a piece which explicitly argues for epistemology being prior to ontology. We've got plenty of people (e.g. Bhaskar, Hay, Blaikie) who argue that ontology is prior but we're having difficulty locating literature for the opposite viewpoint.

Best wishes

Stephen
