Hi, I know there are problems with current the classification TPH in soils and the EA have a new guidance document on its way. This document has gone out to (limited) consultation. Does anyone have a copy yet or even an idea of how it might help to classify soils containing weathered and degraded coal tars? I am dealing with a site were soils contain a range of hydrocarbons which do not fit easily into the existing categories.
