Thanks Rhonda ------------------------------ Call for Conference Chair/Co-Chairs ALT-C 2007 will take place 4-6 September 2007 at the University of Nottingham, England. The ALT Central Executive Committee is seeking an experienced Chair (or 2 Co-Chairs) for the ALT-C 2007 Programme Committee, with the following qualities: 1. National/international standing in the learning technology field. 2. The vision to make the conference programme a success. 3. Experience of chairing/organising conference committees or similar events. 4. Enthusiasm for and/or experience of working with ALT. The panel would also prefer to appoint a member who has not previously chaired or co-chaired ALT-C. Planning and organisation of ALT-C is the responsibility of the Director and the Chair/Co-Chairs, with support from other key committee members. The Conference Chair (or Co-Chairs) will also receive extensive support from ALT's permanent staff. A call for Programme Committee members for 2007 will go out in June.
