medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture

This may sound non-scholarly, but I don't think it is. Your student might want to get his/her hands on a copy of an old herbal -- I think it is called Mrs. Grieves but I can send an exact citation if they need it. It is basically an encyclopedia of herbs and references all the old plants and customs. As he/she comes across herbal references it would aid in understanding, I htink. Let me know off list if you need the reference.
