A seminar on Developing Public Libraries: national
strategies in the UK and Europe will be held in London on 5 April
2006. Speakers include Chris Batt MLA Chief Executive and senior library
planners from Finland, France, Germany and Spain. Further details are on page 3
of Library+Information Gazette of 27 January 2006.
The fee including refreshments and lunch is £60,
but Cilip in London is offering one free place to a public librarian member of
