Limestone Hydrogeology
12 - 13 September 2006, Bristol University
Call for Papers
Following on from previous, successful meetings organised by the Hydrogeology Group on the hydrogeology of the Chalk and Permo-Triassic aquifers, this two day meeting will cover recent developments in the methods of investigation, assessment and modelling of limestone aquifers in the UK and Ireland and the way in which results from these studies have affected our views on how these aquifers function and how they should be managed. The first day will comprise a range of presentations from regulators, water supply companies, consultants and academics. There will also be a poster session. The second (optional) day will comprise a field visit to classic localities in the Mendips.
Cost
*	1st day only £20 Geol Soc and IAH Members and students, £50 non members
*	2nd day an additional £20
Abstracts
Abstracts for presentations and posters should be sent to Mike Streetly <mailto:[log in to unmask]>/Matilda Beatty by 1 June 2006. Emphasis on new approaches to understanding UK and Irish limestone aquifers will be prioritised. Note that, as the Chalk has been well covered in previous meetings, this aquifer will not be a focus for this meeting.

Regards
Mike Streetly
