Forced Migration Review 26
Palestinian displacement: a case apart?

The theme of the July 2006 issue of Forced Migration Review – a magazine on 
refugee and internal displacement issues published in English, Arabic, Spanish 
and French by the Refugee Studies Centre of the University of Oxford – will 
focus on Palestinian refugees.

The Editors welcome non-partisan and practice-oriented submissions related to:

- Patterns of post-1948 ongoing displacement
- Proposals for durable solutions
- Right of return and self determination
- International protection
- Property compensation and restitution
- The UN and Palestinian refugees
- Internally displaced Palestinians in Israel 
- Palestinian refugees in host Arab states
- Palestinians in wider diaspora
- Youth: education, future prospects
- Participation / representation of Palestinians outside Occupied Territories
- Wall-induced displacement
- East Jerusalem
- Stateless / non ID Palestinians
- Palestinian civil society
- Impact of international assistance

Maximum length 2,500 words (including endnotes). If interested in writing, 
please contact the FMR Editors with a brief outline of your proposed article 
as soon as possible and not later than February 28th. Deadline for submission 
of full articles is March 30th, 2006. Please refer to guidelines at:

Further funding is required to ensure printing of sufficient copies to meet 
expected demand and ensure wider dissemination. The Editors would welcome 
suggestions on possible sources of funding.
