Dear AACORNERS, 
about two weeks ago I asked for hints on art/economy texts to feed the knowledge base of our collegue on that topic in Belgrade. Back from the Journey there I would like to thank all of you who replied. 
Martin Keil and me are contributing as the REINIGUNGSGESELLSCHAFT (RG) to the activitities of Marko Stamenkovic art-e-conomy at the moment. We focus on the topic of privatisation of former state owned capital in Serbia, a process, which is taking place at the moment on a large extend in Southeastern Europe. The RG is working on an visual analysis of the cultural and social impacts on the society. 

Marko Stamenkovic is the main organiser of art-e-conomy http://www.art-e-conomy.org, a project in cooperation with The Ministry of Culture - Republic of Serbia (www.kultura.sr.gov.yu) and The Serbia Investment and Export Promotion Agency - SIEPA (www.siepa.sr.gov.yu). 



I would like to propose Martin ([log in to unmask] ) and Marko ([log in to unmask]) as new members of AACORN.   


 
Martin Keil (1968) is co founder of REINIGUNGSGESELLSCHAFT (RG) an artists unit from Dresden/Germany. It exists since 1996. RG works on artistic and curatorial projects and especially elaborate the change of the working world and artists self organisation.

Marko Stamenkovic (1977). Art historian and curator based in Belgrade, Serbia, and MA candidate in Cultural Policy and Cultural Management at the University of Arts in Belgrade. He is specializing in Curatorial Studies and Art Gallery Management and his research interests vary from interdisciplinary analyses of contemporary visual arts and art theory to curatorial studies and art administration. Since 2001 active in various international programs (Artists Space Gallery - New York, Guggenheim Collection - Venice, SKC Gallery - Belgrade). His current research, based on post-Marxist thought, revolves around the issue of contemporary curatorial practices, focusing on themes such as: status of curatorial practices in post-socialist condition, cultural implications of EU enlargement, methodologies in terms of organizing exhibitions in the context of globalization, critical positioning within the global sphere of art production, and discursive projects dealing explicitly with political, social, and economic features of contemporary art and art system.
