Hello (and apologies if you get more of this than you'd like)

I'm looking for examples of 'accessible', 'participatory', 'non-exclusionary' 'radical', 'different' (...etc) conferences, seminars and other dissemination 'events' (especially large scale ones).  I'm particularly interested in how to maximise attendance/participation, the workability (or otherwise) of interesting/non-traditional categorisation of attendees (ie beyond 'member of...', 'guest' etc), tiered registration or attendance fees, radical, cross-subsidisation of attendee costs, venue accessibility and so on - what has been tried, what worked well, what problems were encountered, what solutions to these problems found?  Any views/comments on the nature and extent of the 'problem' of inequitable access to getting your ideas/views 'out there' is also welcome.

Cheers
