Hi Tim We get data from our HIS team who extract the information from the Leeds Exeter system on a quarterly basis. On Exeter system this data is used in the calculation of GP payments and the quarters relate to payment quarters. The data used for a payment at the end of a quarter is based on a snapshot taken 6 months previously e.g. data used for a payment on quarter ending 31 March 2004 is based on a snapshot taken on 1 October 2003. Hope this helps Many thanks Jane Isherwood Information Analyst Leeds North West PCT 0113 305 7539 -----Original Message----- From: A discussion forum and information resource for public health [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of Tim Greene Sent: 05 January 2006 15:55 To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Audit of Cervical Screening Uptake Dear All, I am trying to analyse local uptake patterns for Cervical Screening as part of a PCT Cancer Equity Audit. I am having problems obtaining suitable data through the local system, which produces annual statistical summaries, but not much more. Does anyone have any experience/advice on obtaining and using cervical screening data that they can share? Thanks very much Tim Greene Epidemiologist, Public Health Development Team, West and Eastern Hull PCTs.
