1 March & 21 March, London (Two days separated)
Many library and information workers are involved in training their end-users to use a
variety of technology-based tools. Successful end-user training leads to an increase in
the effective use of information within an organisation. It also means that end-users
become more self reliant and improve their information skills.
BENEFITS OF ATTENDING
This highly practical workshop provides library and information workers with the
skills they need to design and deliver successful end-user training. It is relevant to
people who deliver training events lasting from 30 minutes to six hours to individuals
or groups. Please bring along materials relating to your existing or future events
BY THE END OF THE EVENT PARTICIPANTS WILL HAVE:
· gained an understanding of the principles of designing successful training
events
· identified approaches to running successful training events
· explored a range of strategies to ensure that their training events include a
variety of interesting and memorable activities.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This two-day workshop is designed for library and information staff involved in delivering or planning end-user training. It is relevant to staff working in a number of sectors e.g. workplace, company, school, academic, government or public libraries and information services.
