italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies

The Division of 17th-, 18th-, and 19th-century Italian Literature is
proposing the following three sessions for the 2006 MLA Convention
(Dec 27-30)in Philadelphia. Those who are interested in presenting a paper
should contact directly the chair of the session.

1) Writing Life, Writing Fiction in 17th-, 18th-, and 19th-Century
Italian Literature.

Description: Includes epistolaries, letter fiction, diaries, memoirs,
autobiographical fictions and other constructions of the Self.
Type of submission wanted: Abstract (preferably by e-mail) plus one-
page cv.
