HE in FE Consultation Events

ESCalate, the Higher Education Academy Subject Centre for Education, is holding a series of consultative events on the subject of HE in FE during May 2006.
The aim of these one-day events is to provide participants with the opportunity to discuss issues such as practitioner accreditation and related accreditation procedures and identify future staff development needs . In the process providing a forum to develop active working relationships in the delivery of higher education within further education institutions.
The events are intended for a wide range of figures involved in the delivery of higher education within further education institutions and will address the two key areas of Practitioner Requirements for Delivery and Development of HE in FE and The HE Academy Professional Standards Framework for Teaching: Implications for the Training of Teachers in FE.
