ASSESSMENT 2006 - ASSESSMENT FOR EXCELLENCE
This conference
will continue the tradition of the Northumbria/EARLI SIG Assessment Conferences
by providing a forum where delegates can exchange ideas in a pleasant and
comfortable venue. In 2006 our venue is Redworth Hall, an historic
country house hotel in a rural setting. The number of delegates is limited to
120 in order to maintain an informal, collaborative and participative
atmosphere.
Main themes:
Excellence
in assessment practices
Promoting
excellence in learning
Achieving
excellence with accountability
Who should attend?
The
conference will facilitate the exchange of ideas with a view to enhancing
research and practice in assessment. We welcome contributions from
researchers and educational practitioners.
Conference Venue
Redworth Hall Hotel provides
both the conference venue and accommodation for delegates. The conference
fee includes both the academic programme of activities and all accommodation
and meals. Redworth Hall is easily accessible from the national rail
