ESCalate, the Higher Education Academy Subject Centre for Education, is holding a one-day workshop event in Birmingham on 27 November 2006 on the subject of assessment in Lifelong Learning/Continuing Education
The workshops will highlight how methods of assessment have been, or can be, adapted to the needs of non-traditional learners – part-time, online, distance, work-based, etc.
Keynote speaker: Elaine Payne, Senior Adviser on Assessment, Higher Education Academy
