Dear Colleague,
the 4th International SIIV Congress "Advances in Transport Infrastructures and stakeholders expectations" is going to be held on 12- 14 September 2007 in Palermo, Italy, hosted by the University of Palermo (please see the attached flyer).
Aim of the Congress is to promote advances in the field of the research on roads, railways and airports, sharing of information at international level and technical and cultural exchange amongst researchers and public or private stakeholders.
 
Contributions are welcomed on:

• environmental sustainability of the infrastructure
• maintenance
• management
• safety
• pavement  materials
• design of infrastructure

Invitation to the Congress is therefore extended to researchers, practitioners, design and materials engineers, suppliers and road construction contractors and all the people involved in the field of transportation infrastructures, from planning to management and maintenance.
