SUPPORT THE FUTURE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY. Can you help inspire the next generation of engineering and technical professionals? scenta.co.uk is the UK’s leading portal for science, engineering and technology (SET) careers and information. We are looking for professionals working within SET to encourage and support the next generation of professionals by becoming a Role Model on www.scenta.co.uk/rolemodels I would like to invite any relevant candidates to list themselves as a Role Model on the site. Please forward this request to any friends or colleagues who could help- PhD students and/or researchers would be good candidates. We are particularly interested in hearing from young people, trained/educated in SET now working in Games, Food, Health, Gadgets, Nature, Film, Sport, Music or Travel industries. SO WHY BECOME A ROLE MODEL? By becoming a Role Model on scenta.co.uk, you can help inspire and inform young people about the REAL career opportunities in industry today. It provides a platform for you to explain how you got into your current profession and what helped you along your career path to date. Becoming a Role Model is very simple. You will then be asked to answer a few easy questions about your training and employment. The whole process should take about 10 minutes and you are not obliged to provide any further information, unless you wish to do so. Scenta.co.uk is now working with a number of key media and consumer publications to promote the site, and registering as a Role Model will also provide useful publicity opportunities for you and your organisation.
