The meeting will start at 14.00 hrs and close at 16.30 hrs. Tea and coffee will be available from 13.30 hrs. RSVP to <peter.green@communique- initiative.org>. The RI is closed for building work, so access to the Media Centre is via 19 Albermarle Street. The meeting will focus on the proposals for enhancing the performance of European research organisations press offices. These are described in the Communiqué Road Map that can be downloaded from <http:// www.communique-initiative.org>. Communiqué is keen to gather as many comments on or additions to its plans. The London meeting will be followed by others in Berlin, Copenhagen, Rome, Madrid, Paris and Brussels. Several organisations with a specific interest in media coverage of research will make brief position statements on media issues. They include ABSW, EUPRIO, Science Media Centre, Social Issues Research Centre, Chartered Institute of Public Relations and STEMPRA. If you represent a body that would like to give a position statement please let me know.
