Dear All,

List members may be interested to know that, in March 2007, the BA (British Association for the Advancement of Science) will be expanding the UK's National Science Week programme to become "National Science and Engineering Week".

The BA is working in partnership with the Engineering and Technology Board (ETB) to broaden the scale and scope of this programme and to celebrate the vital contribution that engineering makes to society.

This will involve a significant increase in engineering-related activities, with the addition of an extra 500 engineering-focused events, whilst energy and climate change will again be a key focus during the week, building on the success of the Click for the Climate campaign during last year’s National Science Week.

For further information on National Science and Engineering Week and how to get involved, please visit http://www.the-ba.net/nsew

In anyone has any further queries about this change, please contact me at the details below.

Kind Regards, Joanna

Joanna Rooke
National Science Week Officer
