The Faraday Institute is an extremely thought provoking organisation and contains many useful articles/files/etc from practising scientists. Christians in Science provides a good platform for Christians who are working scientists to debate many of these issues. I also take reasonable offence at your claim that these organisations are funded by "a right-wing pro-religion organisation". I challenge you to name this funder and give reason for your subsequent dismissal. I have not seen anything to justify your comments on either the CIS or Faraday sites, but would be very interested to hear what you have to say. Like Mikey Brass I am a theistic evolutionist. I simply disagree with both his (and the BCSE's) viewpoint on creationism being a major issue here in the UK. If it was ever in danger of becoming so I would be amongst the first to challenge it. Shouting out against it at the moment does as much damage and polarises general public opinion just as much as do the Creationists themselves. Both extremes, whether you disagree with either side or not, are unhelpful and will lead to exactly the situation the BCSE already fears is happening here.
