In the past, I could retrieve this document from the DTI's web site. But in a recent redesign they removed links to this and several other reports that are relevant to the PEST community. For example, you can no longer get the simple "how to" guide that some ageing hack put together fir the OST five years or so ago. Maybe the report is well past its read by date. But if so no one has told the folks in the EU who have just put out a report that has a reference, and link, to the document in question. If nothing else, the OSI, as we must now call it, could grant someone else the right to hold "out of print" documents. Web revisionism is not new, or unique to the DTI. Does anyone remember the name Gil Amelio? He once rang Apple, although you would not know it from their web site. It was this saga that prompted me to buy software that lets me grab local copies of web pages.
