Sent on behalf of Austrian Society for Education and Communication Euro Media Award The European Society for Education and Communication (ESEC) awards the Euro- Media-Medals as a part of the ESEC-Comenius-Awards in Vienna on 22nd of June 2006. ESEC awards the Euro-Media-Prizes for media-programmes, media-products or media-productions (electronic-media or internet), which cover the Europe theme regarding its objectives, perspectives, problem conditions and challenges which pursue educational goals regarding the European topic such as European value, European identity and consciousness, trans-cultural communication in Europe, social integration, solidarity and peaceful neighbourhood, which contribute (in the context of the European topic and the educational goals) to the critical and creative European discourse by innovative formats.
