Hi

There used to be a very useful web site called Count Me In which listed
'Year of ..s', National ...days, etc. However, I've just tried the URL (
http://www.countmeincalendar.co.uk/ <http://www.countmeincalendar.co.uk/> )
and it seems to have been taken over by a rogue site. Does anyone know if
it's moved?

The Psci-com web site (maintained by the Wellcome Library) has two events
listings: one aimed at science communicators and one of science events aimed
at a general audience (
http://www.intute.ac.uk/healthandlifesciences/pscicom/events.html
<http://www.intute.ac.uk/healthandlifesciences/pscicom/events.html> - this
might be the Wellcome connection you were talking about.

best wishes

Louise

Subject: [PSCI-COM] Calendar of Science related dates

Dear all,

I remember a few years ago there was a web-based calendar of science related
events maintained by someone (ba? Absw? AlphaGalileo? Wellcome?).

The problem is that I can't remember who it was, and I can't find anything
current using Google.

I am looking for a basis for an organisational Calendar of 'Year of...'s and
anniversaries and similar events we might want to bear in mind for events
and programming.

Can anybody help?

Thanks,

Lyndsey
