Applications are invited for two PhD studentships of three years'
duration
in the Faculty of Art & Design, Swansea Institute, a Member of the
University of Wales.

The successful applicants will normally hold a Master's degree in the
fields
of art, design or media.
Applicants should submit a comprehensive CV together with a detailed
proposal of research, including a hypothesis, an indication of the
proposed
research methods, a bibliography which indicates the theoretical bases
underpinning the proposal, and a time-plan. Proposals for research
through
practice are welcome.
The studentships are worth UKP6000 each, per year, for three years.
Course
fees of UKP2800 per annum will be met by the Institute.
