34th IET Summer Weekend Meeting on the
History of Science and Technology
7th-9th July 2006 at the
The IET History Group and the
Themes this year include the 50th anniversary of the first
transatlantic telephone cable (TAT 1), engineering in wartime, rural power
supplies and TV standards conversion. There will also be papers on other
subjects related to the history of science, engineering and technology. A
full programme will be issued to delegates in due course.
