LECTURER - HISTORY OF LIFE SCIENCES/MEDICINE Position no.: 0011843 Employment type: Full-time Continuing Campus: Parkville Centre for Health and Society, Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences History and Philosophy of Science, Faculty of Arts Remuneration Salary: $65,630 - $77,934 p.a. (Lecturer, Level B) Superannuation: Employer contributions of 17 percent. The position has been jointly created between two Faculties, the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences and the Faculty of Arts, and will be located in organizational units in both faculties: the Centre for Health and Society and the History and Philosophy of Science programme within the School of Social and Environmental Inquiry. This is an academic appointment in which the applicant will be expected to both independently and in collaboration with relevant colleagues, contribute to the undergraduate and postgraduate teaching relevant to the field of history of medicine and/or history of life sciences. The principal area of teaching responsibility will be in the area of the history of life sciences and/or history of medicine.
