DURHAM UNIVERSITY WOLFSON RESEARCH INSTITUTE WOLFSON RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP: Public health history, public policy and health inequalities £26,402 per annum Applications are invited for a 3-year (fixed term) Wolfson Research Fellowship (tenable from January 2007), to be based in the Wolfson Research Institute. The successful applicant will carry out research into the historical and/or contemporary policy aspects of public health in relation to health inequalities, including its epidemiological and ethical dimensions. (S)he will be based in and work in collaboration with staff of the Centre for the History of Medicine and Disease and the Centre for Public Policy and Health, and collaborate with other colleagues in the Institute. Candidates must hold a PhD or equivalent doctorate degree in a social science or cognate subject, possess skills in quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and have a significant publications record relevant to the research.(S)he will also contribute to postgraduate teaching.
