Announcement David Cantor has been appointed series editor for "Studies in the Social History of Medicine" published by Routledge for the Society for the Social History of Medicine (SSHM): He replaces Anne Borsay, who has held the position since 2001. The series has two editors, Joseph Melling, who remains responsible for monographs, and Dr. Cantor who is responsible for edited collections. Dr. Cantor works as a historian for the National Cancer Institute and the National Library of Medicine in Bethesda, Maryland. His recent publications include the edited volume *Reinventing Hippocrates* (Ashgate, 2002). He is also the editor of a special cancer issue of the *Bulletin of the History of Medicine* (Spring 2007, forthcoming).
