Dear MECCSA members, I would like to draw your attention to the two following advertisements for doctoral research students in the Department of Applied Social Sciences at London Metropolitan University. There is likely to be funding available for successful applicants. PhD Research at London Met Opportunities exist in the Department of Applied Social Sciences for students wishing to undertake doctoral research full-time in the following areas: • Identity and domestic space • Youth subculture and local and global cultural identities The Department has a strong commitment to interdisciplinary work and to promotion of research in many forms. There are opportunities for research methods training and participation in other activities including those organised by the Department's four Research Centres. Some funding may be available.
