RFD is a multi-award winning educational media consultancy that uses radio, and other media, to reach and engage with isolated communities in the UK and in developing countries. Prison Media (PRIME) is a major new RFD initiative that promotes and delivers education to prisoners. We are now recruiting for a new PRIME project in a women’s prison in Surrey. Project Manager £26,000 - £30,000 We are looking for a highly resourceful individual who will manage the set- up and implementation of PRIME at Downview Prison. You will have significant project management experience, combined with extensive radio and/or television production experience, ideally with knowledge of the community media sector. You will be self-motivated with an ability to work within a challenging environment. A job-share will be considered for this post, and regular travel between Surrey and London will be required. Social Enterprise Business Development Manager £26,000 - £30,000 We are looking for an ambitious social entrepreneur who will manage the set-up and development of a multi-media production company within Downview Prison. You will have experience of managing a start-up business and you will demonstrate an ability to generate new business through innovative sales ideas. Although knowledge and experience of radio/television production would be preferable, it is not an essential requirement. You will be required to travel within the region, wherever clients are located.
