The Department of Creative Critical and Communications Studies Research
Seminar series at the University of Greenwich finishes this semester with
two guest speakers. The first, on Thursday 16th of March, W202 at 1pm is the
performance artist *Jamie O'Neil* from the United States. The seminar is
entitled

*"Metamedia" *

'Jamie O'Neil (b. 1970) is a video/multimedia designer and performance
artist. O'Neil performs under the pseudonym of Kurt Weibers as the spokesman
for a fictional company he created called Global Point Strategies. He offers
videos, audio programs and self-improvement
seminars that mimic similar offerings in the commercial world; only O'Neil's
are cleverly devised parodies that confront the principles
of marketplace manipulation'

The second on Thursday the 23rd, from Germany, is Petra Sabisch,
performer/choreographer and holder of a Phd scholarship at the University of
Greenwch. Her paper is entitled "Choreographies that Matter".

It would be great to see you there.
