Leeds University Library Collection Management Services Short Loans and Processing Team Leader This is an opportunity to combine team leadership with the development of student-centred high demand services. As Team Leader for the Processing Team, you will ensure newly acquired book stock is processed promptly and accurately before reaching the open shelves. Combined this you will be leading the work with Faculty Teams and academic staff to ensure our High Demand Collection contains key items essential to student learning and teaching. Collection management for AV materials is the third key element of the role. With a professional library/information studies qualification, or substantial relevant experience, you will have a good understanding of e-Resources developments, along with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Previous experience of staff supervision is essential. Confident in the use of IT, you will be self-managing, able to prioritise a busy workload whilst maintaining a strong customer focus. Grade: University of Leeds 6 (£20,842 - £25,633) Hours: 36.5 per week. Participation in the evening duty rota as site supervisor is a requirement of the post.
