Dear All, Brewing Research International is offering a 12 month, part-time one year contract, Library Assistant position, PART-TIME LIBRARY ASSISTANT Brewing Research International is the premier technology and information organisation providing technical, information and research services to the global brewing malting and drinks industries. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic library assistant to join a small team providing a proactive information and research service to the Brewing Industry and staff at Brewing Research International. The postholder will provide front line contact with library users, dealing with a wide range of enquiries and requests, obtaining books and journal articles and running a document supply service. Other duties will include managing the serials collection, shelving as well as an exciting opportunity to be involved in the setup and development of the library when it moves to a new library building in Spring 2007. Previous library experience not required. Proven IT skills, and familiarity with the Internet essential. The post maybe suitable for a part-time student on a Library or Information Sciences postgraduate course. Salary according to experience and qualifications.
