The Libraries at Leeds Met are moving to RFID this summer, as a result of which we have the following self service equipment for sale. All interested parties should contact Dilys Young ([log in to unmask] tel. 0113 283 2600 ext. 3975), in the first instance for further information and to discuss their requirements. SelfChecks 3M Library SelfChecks, 8 x model 6210. Maintained by 3M. Of these 2 are configured as dual purpose (issue/return), the remaining 6 are configured as: 4 x issue, 2 x return – these could be upgraded to dual purpose at additional cost. All machines use a swipe card slot for reading the user card number and scanner for reading the item barcode. Other 3M equipment – all currently maintained by 3M Single corridor detection systems (5 - various models) Locking gates x 3 Book de/sensitisers (4 – various models)
